This quote is one that really stuck with me when I first began working towards my Holistic Nutritionist Certificate. It is so true, not only with eating but for many other things in life where people want to make a change, but fear ultimately holds them back. As someone who despises raisins I find it kind of funny that I am a big fan of dates, which just look like giant raisins. I started buying dates a couple years ago when I discovered a recipe for "raw balls" which is essentially just blended dates with whatever other ingredients you choose to add! But I realized I have been eating dates for much longer thanks to Larabars, which are delicious bars made with very minimal ingredients. Dates are not an ingredient I thought about or ever had on my shopping list for majority of my life, but I am glad they are a staple in our home now! I thought I would share my current favorite way to eat dates and some fun facts that you may or may not know!
